In the first 7 months , Qingdao’s foreign trade increased by nearly 40%

According to Qingdao Customs statistics , the total value of Qingdao’s foreign trade in the first seven months of this year was 473.64 billion YUAN , an increase of 39.3% over the same period last year and 42.4% over the same period in 2019 , accounting for 29.8% of the total value of Shandong province in the same period . Among them , exports reached 265.6 billion yuan , up 34% year-on-year and 41.5% higher than the same period in 2019. Imports were 208.4 billion yuan , up 46.8% and up 43.4% compared with the same period in 2019.

In July , Qingdao’s import and export volume reached 75.87 billion yuan , up 37.3 year on year. The value of import and export were the second highest after June 2021.
